Something must have gone wrong.
Lots of people are on their way to the margins. They feel out of sorts. They can’t quite put their finger on why they feel out of sorts, they just feel that way without an explanation.
It’s like in the movie, The Matrix. Blue pill, red pill. Aside from the pioneering use of special effects, one of the reasons this movie has been so popular is for what it says about life. The idea that there could be one radical explanation for why life does not feel right is thought provoking.
So what is the problem? We don’t know who we are.
Imagine you were actually an heir to a fortune, but you are living on the streets. Your life is not what you wish it could be. But for a lack of knowledge and the ability to claim what belongs to you, life is whatever handouts and scraps you can find. Imagine too that people are actively working to keep you away from your birthright, hide the knowledge you should have and thwart any attempt to lay claim to what is rightfully yours.
This is our life. Rich, poor, in between, successful or not, it does not matter. Ultimately we all lack knowledge about who we are, and what our purpose in life is.
The US government is actively studying UFO’s. Now who could have imagined that a government would study something like this? And what effect would a potential discovery that UFOs are real have on all of us? Yet people immediately dismiss anything that might begin to look “unscientific” in a discussion of what life is all about or whether this life is all there is. If UFOs really exist, what else is right under our noses that we are not looking at?
The story of the Matrix is intriguing because if something, an alternate reality really exists, it would upend all of our lives.
So, what we believe about reality can make a huge difference. It’s not an idle conversation topic, an optional add-on. If you want to seriously look at why life does not feel right, you have to be willing to at least consider radical alternatives to what you currently believe.
Make a decision to be serious about a search for the problems in life. Resolve to not go on accepting what you are supposed to believe. Read more on this blog. I look forward to answering any questions you have.
